What a chilly night, tonight. I think I need some tomato sauce.
My mister & I headed down to CNPB, SAF Career's Office for his Army Recruitment. He signed up for Engineering Specialist at first, & he told me that wasn't what he really wanted. He said he wanted to be a Combat Specialist. I asked him why didn't he choose that in th first place, he said, "I chosed wrongly lar.. see wrongly.."
#1. Baby, how can you ever "choose wrongly" for something so crucial to you, which involves your career in future. & to do something you don't like (after all those bullshits said -"patriotism" to Singapore- during th interview) in th future is just going to be a burden to you.
#2. You should have re-checked & make damn sure of what you chose lar.
See boo, I'm not nagging but I really want to see you enjoy doing something you really want so that all your efforts & hard work that you've placed in to get it will be paid off.. thou I know what you really want is to be a part of th SAF.
Interview time: 1400 hours. It was 1345 hours when we reached, & th place was half filled with boys all looking smart & eager to go for their interviews to be a part of th Army. Some dressed up like as if they were going for an interview as a Manager in Grand Hyatt Hotel. Some dressed as if they were going to a Punkrock gig.
2 more hours passed & finally th officer called out "A046", my mister's que number. Before that, he was all anxious & scared plus nervous & everything you have felt before going for your first job interview.
I reassured him that he can do it, which I know very well that he can, & so into th room he went off, walking in with all th confidence he can have.. at least. :) So, I just sat outside, reading Life! from The Straits Times, slowly flipping through.. assuming th interview to take hours.
By th time I switched th paper (at th newspaper rack) to th Home section & just about to finish one article on th facing page, my man came out with no traces of sweat trickling down his forehead, at all. I was surprised, both at th time span of th interview & his calm self.
So I found out that th interview wasn't all pressurising like I/he/we thought it would be. In fact, they just asked about his family background, what aspect he is interested in, & even to tell them one thing to
impress them. I was like, "No wayyy...". Haha, turns out, my mister told them a grandfather tale of how he's been excited to serve his NS & how he's been wanting to be a part of th Army since he was a kid. All those bullcrap shit story you can have (:
Haha, sorry boo. Yours wasn't bullcrap la. Probably just cow dung. :P joke, love.
So anyways, my mister was told that he couldn't take on Engineering Specialist at th Army. Then I thought he was devastated.. because what else could he do, then? ..since it was th only thing he signed up for. But after which baby told me that he could only do Combat Specialist (which was something HE WANTS) because his course - Aeronautical Engineering - has nothing to do with whatever Engineering Specialist has to offer.
..which is a good news! Hahaha, no wonder he was calm & cool when he walked out of th interviewing room. :D Congrats, baby. Now let's just hope for th best & that you'll get th sponsorship, alright!
*Huggs*
Tiong Bahru Plaza was lame. Nothing much there, so we decided to catch a movie. Most of th movies we wanted to watch were at around six plus but it was only near five pm at that time. I didn't think I could watch movie that late anyways because mommey wants me home earlier. So we decided to hit City Hall instead, for some ice-cream loving. ohh, waffles too!
So, to Gelare we went!
our much distorted-looking Chocolate Chip Waffle w/ Cookies & Creams ice-cream on top, with chocalate sauce to add-on!
Yum, my boyfriend looks so yummy. HAHA.
Eh, really damn sedap sia th first bite!
Someone look really CUTE here, please!
:D, I was almost dying from all those chocolate down my throat.
So i asked my mister to get mineral water, since they "don't serve Ice Water" there.. because i was seriously going to puke.(I think I had too much for th day already.)
There, th final blow. I couldn't take it no more & by th time everything was gulped down agonisingly, towards th end, them sedap waffle tasted like pure oil going down your neck & into your stomach. irgh.
Thus, we decided to talk a walk around Singapore Town,
in a Singapore city bus & head for th Civilian War Memorial "Tower"(a.k.a War Memorial Park) right in th heartland of City Hall(?) Haha, but anyways.. it was such a nice place to be at, just now at least (where there are not much people sticking around so you can "rendezvous" pretty privately).
It was quite high up, so I took a picture of th "Tower" in two parts. The bottom one here.
& th rest of th "Tower", here. :D I loved th place.
That's me, in th middle of th whole tower thing, looking so happy. Haha.
Baby's reading it..
& This was what it said..Random Shots
Ever so pretty, & beautiful it stood.
The Four Chambers of its Heart.I had one of my nicest times with my mister there, just now after so long of not really spending quality time together. :D Thanks baby for th time just now. I really appreciate you & everything you do.
p.s.: Sorry for my terrible burok-ness just now. I couldn't help it. See you tomorrow :)
I love you, Baby. That's all for today.
